Responsibilities (Varies by Role)

General Responsibilities (All Roles)

• Deliver safe, high-quality care to residents or patients

• Maintain a clean, supportive, and professional environment

• Document care accurately according to facility standards

• Communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families

• Follow all facility and state guidelines

CNA Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with daily living activities (ADLs)

• Take and document vital signs

• Assist with mobility and patient comfort

• Support LPNs and RNs with basic care tasks

LPN Responsibilities

• Provide routine nursing care under RN or physician supervision

• Administer medications and treatments

• Monitor patient conditions and report changes

• Document nursing care accurately

RN Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee patient care plans

• Supervise CNAs and LPNs as needed

• Perform assessments and clinical interventions

• Administer medications, injections, and wound care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

RT (Respiratory Therapist) Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies

• Conduct breathing assessments

• Maintain and monitor respiratory equipment

• Respond to respiratory emergencies

• Ability to work professionally and independently

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to pass background check and meet onboarding requirements

CNA Requirements

• Active New York CNA License

LPN Requirements

• Active New York LPN License

RN Requirements

• Active New York RN License

RT Requirements

• Active New York Respiratory Therapist License

Preferred but Not Required:

• 6+ months of experience

• CPR certification

• TB test, Physical, and immunizations (varies by facility)

• COVID vaccine if required by facility
