MVR will be run by AllTex and charged back to the candidate; MVR must be clear for the client to add them on to their insurance.
Position Summary
City Build Utility Supply is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering utility, construction, and building materials to customers while also supporting warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, inventory control, order pulling, and material handling. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, and experience in warehouse and delivery environments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Delivery Driver Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver utility, waterworks, construction, and building materials to customer locations.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Verify delivery orders, quantities, and customer signatures.
- Inspect vehicles daily and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries.
- Assist customers with unloading materials when necessary.
Warehouse Associate Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments.
- Pull, stage, and prepare customer orders for delivery or pickup.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Stock inventory and organize warehouse materials.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Identify damaged or missing materials and report discrepancies.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery driving and warehouse experience preferred.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Experience with utility supply, construction materials, waterworks, plumbing, electrical, or industrial products is a plus.
- Ability to read delivery tickets, packing slips, and work orders.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
