8am-5pm Monday thru Friday

Need Valid TDL-Clean driving record, will run MVR and charged back to candidate

Must have clean BG, good presentation and good communication skills


Job Summary Preferred Pool of Houston is seeking a dependable and experienced Pool Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and commercial swimming pool equipment and systems. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair swimming pool equipment, including pumps, motors, filters, heaters, automation systems, and saltwater systems.
  • Perform equipment installations and upgrades.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and plumbing issues related to pool systems.
  • Repair leaks in plumbing lines and pool equipment.
  • Inspect pool systems and recommend necessary repairs or preventative maintenance.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure proper operation.
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair reports, and inventory usage.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs, recommendations, and service schedules.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards and local regulations.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
  • Assist with special projects and additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in pool equipment repair, pool maintenance, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Knowledge of pool pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems, and water circulation systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, standing, climbing, and walking.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
