Position Title: Diesel Mechanic Location: ATP Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

ATP is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel‑powered equipment and vehicles. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks, heavy equipment, and machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs accurately
• Conduct safety checks and ensure equipment is operating properly
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support operational needs

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Skilled in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must have PPE and follow all safety protocols
