About the job Duty Manager

Under the general guidance of the Front Office Manager, the Duty Manager provides general management support throughout the hotel at all times, monitoring guest movements, security, employee activity, physical defects in the resort etc.

  3. Reviews occupancy reports, VIPs, noshow, upgrades, and guest complaints prior to operations meeting.
    • Conduct daily rounds to all sections and discuss operational issues, guest comments and section needs.
    • Anticipate all arrivals and departures and discuss with section heads action plans for the day.
    • Reviews audit findings, pending pin folios or any discrepancy to ensure appropriate action taken.
    • Achieve maximum occupancy for the day, liaises with staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
    • Practices and role-models the Guiding Principles and the Core Values of Alma Resort.
    • Become environmental friendly, reduce waste, recycle when possible, and reuse whenever applicable.
    • Must be familiar with:
    • CSR initiatives and ensure its compliance and application
    • Policies and Procedures, Guidelines, Rules and Regulations per Almas CSR, including and not limited to CSR initiatives of the local and national government.
