About the job Head of Social Media
Our client is a digital services provider operating within the iGaming field They are looking for an innovative and strategic Head of Social Media (Organic & Paid) to lead and evolve our global social media presence across all platforms. This is a high-impact, cross-functional leadership role combining brand storytelling with performance marketing to drive full-funnel engagement and business growth.
Youll own the end-to-end strategy for both paid and organic social media across multiple iGaming brands. From shaping brand voice and building communities to driving ROI through media investment, youll be responsible for delivering compelling content, measurable results, and industry-leading innovation.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integrated global social media strategy across paid and organic channels including Meta, TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms.
- Manage and mentor a growing team of paid media buyers, content strategists, and community managers.
- Define and scale content strategy, working with Creative to deliver scroll-stopping, high-converting content tailored to each platform and audience segment.
- Oversee daily channel operations, from publishing and moderation to media buying and campaign optimization.
- Develop full-funnel social programs that align with brand, acquisition, and retention goals.
- Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks for both brand and performance metrics; continuously analyze performance and iterate.
- Champion community-building initiatives, influencer partnerships, and cultural moments that elevate brand relevance and customer loyalty.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative, CRM, SEO, Product, and Data teams to ensure cohesion and amplification across channels.
- Drive innovation and experimentation, testing new formats, features, and emerging platforms to stay ahead of trends.
- Act as the voice of social internally, providing strategic direction and thought leadership to stakeholders and executives.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in social media marketing with at least 3+ years in a senior or leadership role overseeing both paid and organic strategies.
- Proven track record managing cross-platform strategies that drive both brand equity and business outcomes.
- Deep expertise in platform algorithms, social-first content formats, and community management best practices.
- Strong performance marketing acumen, including experience with ROAS-driven paid social campaigns.
- Experience in the iGaming, entertainment, or other fast-paced, regulated industries is a strong plus.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and nurturing high-performing teams.
- Proficient in social analytics and reporting tools such as Sprout, Brandwatch, Looker Studio, or native platforms.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels of an organization.
- Strategic thinker with creative sensibility and a deep passion for internet culture, trends, and storytelling.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
