About the Company:

Our client is a well-funded electric mobility startup backed by top-tier investors with over $300M in funding and a valuation of over $1B pre-product. The company is pioneering a new category of lightweight EVs, addressing the fast-growing micromobility market, which is expanding at triple-digit growth rates.

The team includes 120+ experienced engineers and product leaders from leading EV companies, creating a unique environment where individuals can own entire vehicle platforms from concept through launch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end CAD assembly of vehicle platforms, with an emphasis on occupant packaging and subsystem integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to resolve packaging conflicts and optimize trade-offs between performance and manufacturability.
  • Drive structured system integration workflows for rapid product development cycles.
  • Support transitions from prototype to production, working closely with manufacturing and supply chain teams.
  • Establish scalable engineering processes, including management of top-level assemblies and BOMs.

What Were Looking For:

  • 7+ years of vehicle platform design and integration experience (automotive, ATV, UTV, or related).
  • Expert-level proficiency in 3D CAD (CATIA preferred) with experience managing complex assemblies.
  • Strong knowledge of PLM systems (BOM management, part structuring, engineering change control).
  • Solid foundation in mechanical engineering with an understanding of structural design and vehicle packaging trade-offs.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.
  • Proven track record of taking vehicle platforms from concept to production launch.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience working in fast-paced EV companies.
  • Hands-on experience with prototype-to-production scaling.
