Job Title: Cybersecurity (Full-Time and Contract/Project-Based Roles)

Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Cybersecurity Specialists to join our clients' teams in both full-time and contract/project-based roles. As a Cybersecurity Specialist at ALT Digital, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects that address cybersecurity challenges across industries, from threat detection and prevention to incident response and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to assess their cybersecurity posture and develop strategies to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), endpoint protection, and security information and event management (SIEM) platforms.
• Conduct security assessments, audits, and penetration tests to identify weaknesses and recommend remediation measures.
• Monitor network traffic and system logs for suspicious activity, and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner.
• Stay abreast of the latest cyber threats, attack vectors, and security best practices, and provide guidance and recommendations to clients and internal teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of success in cybersecurity roles, with  experience in threat detection, incident response, risk management, or similar areas.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and methodologies, including network security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
