ICT Sales Executive: Enterprise


The successful candidate will sell ALTUS ICT's enterprise ICT solutions to government, corporate, parastatal, SME and local authority clients by understanding client needs and positioning practical, secure and scalable ICT solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect and develop new clients across government, SOE, corporate, SME and local authority markets.
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline with clear next steps and expected close dates.
  • Achieve or exceed agreed revenue, margin and activity targets.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in existing accounts.
  • Maintain proactive contact with assigned clients and accounts.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable ALTUS ICT solutions.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to ensure solution accuracy and clear client expectations.
  • Follow up on quotations, proposals, renewals and client queries within agreed timelines.
  • Prepare professional quotations, proposals and supporting documents.
  • Assist with tender documentation, compliance packs and administrative requirements.
  • Coordinate technical input, pricing, Bills of Materials and supporting evidence for submissions.
  • Ensure all proposals and tender documents are accurate, complete and submitted on time.
  • Track competitor activity, client feedback and new ICT opportunities in the market.
  • Provide weekly pipeline updates and monthly sales reports.
  • Record opportunities, call notes and follow-ups accurately on the approved sales system.
  • Share insights that can assist ALTUS ICT with product positioning and growth planning.
  • Represent ALTUS ICT professionally at client meetings, events and industry engagements.
  • Support the collection of testimonials, case studies and content for marketing.
  • Promote ALTUS ICT's full solution portfolio and partner ecosystem.
  • Support internal coordination where sales commitments affect technical delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in ICT sales, business development, account management or solution selling.
  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets or managing a sales pipeline.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and tender support will be an advantage.
  • Working understanding of ICT solutions, including hardware, software, networking, CCTV, access control, AV, cybersecurity, managed services and Microsoft 365.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites within Namibia.

  • Strong prospecting, lead generation and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to explain ICT solutions in simple business language to non-technical clients.
  • Understanding of government, SOE, local authority and corporate procurement processes.
  • Proposal writing, quotation preparation and sales presentation skills.
  • CRM and pipeline management with disciplined follow-up.
  • Negotiation, closing and objection-handling skills.
  • Financial awareness relating to pricing, margin, ROI and total cost of ownership.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
