Job Description
Responsible for providing friendly and professional food & beverage service to guests in various dining venues onboard including buffet, complimentary restaurants, and room service. Ensures guest satisfaction by delivering efficient service while maintaining company, safety, and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages in assigned dining venues
- Deliver room service orders professionally and efficiently
- Explain menu items and basic beverage selections to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas
- Assist guests with requests and ensure excellent customer service
- Enter orders into POS system accurately
- Follow USPH, HACCP, safety, and company policies
- Support team operations during busy service periods
- Attend trainings, meetings, and emergency drills as required
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years Food & Beverage service experience in hotel, restaurant, banquet, or cruise ship
- Good English communication skills
- Experience in buffet, casual dining, or room service preferred
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills
- Physically fit and able to work long hours onboard
Preferred Skills
- Basic wine and beverage knowledge
- POS system experience
- Multitasking and fast-paced service ability
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Additional language skills are an advantage
