Job Overview:

As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have clean and fresh linens, towels, and other laundry items throughout their stay on our ships. You will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, and folding all linens and towels used by our guests, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry room.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold all linens and towels used by guests and crew members

- Ensure that all laundry items are cleaned and stored according to company standards

- Operate and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and ironing machines

- Inspect linens and towels for stains, tears, or other damage and report any issues to the Laundry Supervisor

- Maintain a clean and organized laundry room, including regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces

- Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment

- Assist with inventory management and ordering of laundry supplies

- Communicate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of clean laundry items

- Provide exceptional customer service to guests and respond to any laundry-related requests or concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred

- Knowledge of laundry equipment and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
