Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including managing a team of housekeeping staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management

- Ensure that all guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards

- Develop and implement cleaning and maintenance procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment

- Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained

- Respond to guest complaints and requests in a timely and professional manner

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all housekeeping staff

- Prepare and manage the housekeeping department budget

- Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development for housekeeping staff

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in a housekeeping management role, preferably in a hospitality or cruise line setting

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Strong organizational and time-management abilities

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures and equipment

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test
