Job Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and attentive Pool Deck Monitor to join our team at Royal Caribbean. As a Pool Deck Monitor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests using the pool area. This is a full-time, year-round position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the pool area and enforce all safety rules and regulations

- Keep the pool area clean and organized at all times

- Assist guests with any questions or concerns they may have

- Maintain accurate records of pool usage and any incidents that occur

- Conduct routine safety checks of pool equipment and report any issues to management

- Provide first aid or emergency assistance when necessary

- Communicate effectively with guests and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner

- Attend all required trainings and meetings

- Assist with pool maintenance tasks as needed

- Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current lifeguard certification or willingness to obtain one

- CPR and First Aid certification

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

- Must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
