As Assistant Laundry Master, you will work closely with the Laundry Master to oversee the daily operations of our laundry facilities on board our ships. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and efficient processing of all guest and crew laundry, as well as maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Laundry Master in managing the daily operations of the ship's laundry facilities, including scheduling, inventory management, and quality control

- Ensure all guest and crew laundry is processed in a timely and efficient manner, meeting or exceeding company standards

- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines

- Train and supervise a team of laundry attendants, providing guidance and support to ensure a high level of performance and guest satisfaction

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed

- Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity

- Handle any guest or crew laundry requests or concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Guest Services, to ensure seamless operation and guest satisfaction

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as safety and environmental regulations

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in a laundry facility, preferably in a hospitality or cruise ship setting

- Knowledge of laundry equipment and processes, including sorting, washing, drying, and ironing

- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment

- Flexibility to work varied schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and criminal background check
