Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team. The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations on board our cruise ships. This individual will work closely with the Housekeeping Manager to ensure that all guest cabins, public areas, and crew quarters are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train a team of housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective operations

- Inspect guest cabins and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to company standards

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed

- Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any housekeeping issues

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and timely turnaround of guest cabins

- Implement and enforce housekeeping policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations

- Coordinate with laundry department to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and towels

- Assist with scheduling and assigning duties for housekeeping staff

- Handle guest complaints and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner

- Maintain accurate records and reports of housekeeping activities and expenses

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation techniques and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Strong leadership and team-building skills

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Fluency in English is required, additional languages are a plus

- Previous experience in the cruise industry is a plus
