Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Assistant Front Desk Manager to join our team. As the Assistant Front Desk Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our front desk services. You will work closely with the Front Desk Manager to oversee the daily operations of the front desk, including guest check-in and check-out, room reservations, and handling guest inquiries and concerns.

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Front Desk Manager in managing the daily operations of the front desk

- Ensure that all guest requests and concerns are handled promptly and effectively

- Train and supervise front desk staff to provide excellent customer service

- Monitor and maintain accurate room inventory and availability

- Assist with room reservations and group bookings

- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

- Assist with creating and implementing front desk policies and procedures

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards

- Handle guest complaints and escalate issues to the Front Desk Manager when necessary

- Assist with scheduling and managing front desk staff shifts

- Other duties as assigned by the Front Desk Manager

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a front desk or guest service role

- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and basic accounting principles

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
