Job Overview

The Messman supports the Chief Cook and galley team through cleaning, food service, and housekeeping duties. Key tasks include serving meals, washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness in the galley, mess room, and crew areas, assisting with basic food preparation, and performing housekeeping tasks as assigned.

Experience Required

• No experience is required, though prior onboard experience as a Messman or in food service or housekeeping roles is preferred.
• Experience may include onboard Messman duties, housekeeping work, food service or catering roles, and knowledge of proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
