Job Overview
The Restaurant Host/Hostess greets and seats guests, manages guest flow and reservations, coordinates waitlists, provides menus, and answers guest inquiries. The role ensures the dining area is presentable, works with service and kitchen staff for smooth operations, assists with special requests or dietary needs, and upholds high hospitality standards from guest arrival to departure.
Experience Required
- A minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience—when required—should be in hospitality, guest service, or restaurant/F&B operations. Key skills include strong customer service, good communication (often in English), familiarity with menus and service flow, use of reservation or guest-management systems, effective coordination with kitchen and service staff, and professionalism in fast-paced environments.
