Job Overview

The Security Staff helps ensure the safety and security of the ship, passengers, crew, and assets. Key duties include patrolling public and restricted areas, monitoring access points and surveillance systems, conducting security checks, enforcing shipboard rules, responding to incidents and emergencies, assisting with evacuation procedures, maintaining security reports and logs, coordinating with other departments, and providing professional guest assistance when needed.

Experience Required

  • A minimum of 1–3 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Preferred experience includes security, law enforcement, maritime security, crowd control, or related roles such as hotel or port security. Useful additional skills include first-aid/CPR certification, knowledge of maritime safety regulations, crowd management, emergency response, and a strong guest-service orientation suited to cruise environments.
