Job Description (English):
The Casino Dealer is responsible for operating and conducting various table games in the shipboard casino, including Blackjack, Roulette, Dice, Let It Ride, and Caribbean Stud Poker. The Dealer ensures professional and engaging gaming experiences while maintaining strict adherence to company policies and international gaming regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assigned table games such as Blackjack, American Roulette, Dice, and other casino games according to established rules and procedures.
- Maintain accurate game control and ensure all betting transactions are handled correctly.
- Deliver professional, courteous, and efficient service to guests at all times.
- Monitor guest play to ensure compliance with casino rules and fair play.
- Handle gaming equipment and chips responsibly to prevent loss or error.
- Communicate tactfully with guests and resolve minor disputes with professionalism.
- Uphold the integrity of the games and ensure compliance with gaming laws and shipboard regulations.
- Assist in casino promotions, tournaments, and events as directed by the Casino Supervisor.
- Ensure cleanliness, organization, and safety standards are maintained in the gaming area.
Qualifications:
- Proof of completion from a Gaming Board and/or Commission-approved Dealer School or international equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Casino Dealer, proficient in Blackjack, Roulette, Dice, and Caribbean Stud Poker.
- Ability to quickly and accurately identify card values, dice numbers, and game outcomes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long periods during work hours.
- High school diploma or equivalent education preferred.
- Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
- Prior experience on a cruise ship, 4/5-star hotel, or upscale gaming venue is required.
- STCW Basic Safety Training preferred (can be completed after passing the interview).
