Job Description (English):

The Security Guard is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of passengers, crew, and ship property onboard Celebrity Cruises vessels. This includes performing safety rounds, gangway watch, and emergency response duties in accordance with company standards and maritime regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular safety rounds and gangway watch to ensure the safety of guests, crew, and vessel operations.
• Act as a first responder to emergencies such as fire, medical incidents, or security threats.
• Enforce shipboard safety and security policies as directed by the Chief Security Officer.
• Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, unsafe conditions, or violations of ship regulations.
• Assist in guest and crew embarkation/disembarkation procedures and ensure proper ID verification.
• Uphold company standards for professionalism, courtesy, and environmental awareness.
• Participate in regular safety drills, emergency training, and crew security briefings.

Qualifications:

• Age 21 - 45 years old.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a security-related field such as military service, airport security, hotel/event security, or bouncer.
• Previous maritime or hotel security experience is an advantage.
• STCW Basic Safety Training certificate preferred can be completed after passing the interview.
• Strong character, professional ethics, and calm temperament under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English; able to handle guest interactions professionally.
• Physically fit to perform patrols, emergency response, and participate in safety drills.
