Job Description (English):

The Shore Excursion Staff is responsible for promoting, selling, and coordinating shore excursion tours and activities to guests onboard Celebrity Cruises vessels. This position provides professional, knowledgeable, and engaging guest service, ensuring guests enjoy memorable experiences in every destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote, explain, and sell shore excursion tours and packages to guests onboard.
  • Work at the Shore Excursion desk during assigned hours, assisting guests with tour details and recommendations.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective cross-selling and upselling.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, refunds, and tour-related issues promptly and courteously.
  • Provide accurate port information and assist guests with logistics and tour preparations.
  • Prepare and submit daily sales and operations reports accurately and on time.
  • Maintain the TTG system and operate the POS terminal for tour sales transactions.
  • Provide training and support to new team members as directed.
  • Collaborate with the Tour Operators and Port Agents to ensure smooth shore excursion operations.
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of ports, tours, and local attractions to provide informed recommendations.
  • Uphold Celebrity Cruises premium standards of service, professionalism, and guest care.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of shipboard experience in Shore Excursions or Guest Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of ports, tours, and local destinations.
  • Proven sales background or experience in travel and tourism preferred.
  • Excellent public speaking and guest service skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, POS, or reservation systems).
  • Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Physically fit and able to participate in safety drills and required training.
  • STCW Basic Safety Training preferred (can be completed after passing the interview).
  • Must be able to obtain C1/D visa and other applicable travel visas.
