Where you drive
This fleet runs out of Jurupa Valley and covers every state west of the Mississippi. Loads are mostly shorter hauls that bring you back toward Southern California. If you want longer runs past the Mississippi, you can ask for them. Nobody will force you.
Home time
Home every two weeks. Holidays can be worked out with your driver leader.
Freight
Dry van. Loads come in different types: drop and hook, live loads, and some unload work like pallet jack, tailgate or assist. Expect some winter driving in the mountains.
First weeks
You don't need road experience, just a CDL-A school certificate of at least 120 hours. Training takes 3 to 5 weeks (200 to 250 hours) with a mentor, and you're paid during it. Then you get your own truck in this fleet.
