CDL A Truck Driver – Training Program Available

American Driver is looking for CDL A drivers in Tupelo, MS. If you have your Class A license and want to get on the road with a company that will train you the right way, this is a straightforward opportunity to do that.

Training is fully paid. You ride with a mentor, learn on real freight, and transition to solo when you're ready.

Training Program:

• 4–6 weeks with a dedicated mentor
• Fully paid — no out of pocket costs
• Live freight from day one — no simulators
• Weekly pay throughout the program
• Solo transition at $0.56 CPM after completion

A Typical Week on the Road:

• No-touch dry van freight
• Around 60% drop and hook
• 2,200–2,500 miles per week
• Day and night dispatch depending on load
• Minimal downtime, freight runs year-round

What You'll Earn:

• $0.56–$0.65 CPM depending on experience
• Most drivers take home $1,200–$1,500 weekly
• Extra pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
• Pay increase at six months
• $300 orientation pay
• Weekly direct deposit

Home Time:

• Home every two weeks, planned in advance

Equipment:

• Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
• APUs on all assigned units

Requirements:

• Class A CDL, age 21 or older
• Minimum 120 hours of verified instruction from an accredited commercial driving school required
