Truck Driver CDL A – Paid Training

American Driver has an opening for a CDL A driver based in Brunswick, GA. Brunswick sits on I-95 at the Georgia coast — a strategic position for drivers running Eastern OTR lanes with freight moving up and down the seaboard.

This is a full-time W2 position. Paid training is included and there are no upfront costs to you.

Training:

• Paid 4–6 weeks alongside an experienced mentor
• Live loads from day one — real routes, real freight
• Full coverage of ELD, HOS, pre/post trip inspections
• You earn weekly pay the entire time
• Transition to solo driving at $0.56 CPM when ready

On the Road:

• Dry van, no-touch loads
• Roughly 60% drop and hook operations
• Consistent 2,200–2,500 miles weekly
• I-95 and Eastern corridor routes
• Predictable dispatch with minimal sitting

Compensation:

• $0.56–$0.65 CPM depending on experience
• Weekly take-home typically $1,200–$1,500
• Additional pay for stops, layovers, and breakdowns
• Pay increase at six months
• $300 paid orientation
• Weekly direct deposit, every Friday

Home Time:

• Consistent planned home time every two weeks

Your Truck:

• Late-model Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
• All units come with APUs

What You Need:

• Class A CDL, must be 21 or older
• Completed at least 120 hours at an accredited CDL school — required to enter our paid training program
