Driving out of Mobile, AL? American Driver is expanding its OTR fleet and has open positions for entry level Class A drivers on Eastern routes.

Mobile's location on the Gulf Coast puts you right at the start of some of the most consistent freight lanes in the Southeast. Paid training included — no experience needed to get started.

What Training Looks Like:

  • Fully paid 4–6 week program
  • One-on-one time with an experienced mentor on real loads
  • Covers everything from pre-trip inspections to ELD compliance
  • You earn weekly pay the entire time
  • Transition to $0.56 CPM solo after finishing

The Job:

  • Dry van, no-touch freight
  • Heavy drop and hook — around 60%
  • 2,200–2,500 miles weekly
  • Eastern routes with predictable dispatch

Earnings:

  • $0.56–$0.65 CPM
  • Typical weekly take-home $1,200–$1,500
  • Extra pay for stops, layovers, breakdowns
  • Pay goes up at six months
  • $300 for orientation
  • Direct deposit weekly

Home Time:

  • Planned home time every two weeks

Truck:

  • Late-model Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
  • APUs on every unit

To Qualify:

  • Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older
  • Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for our paid training program
