Driving out of Mobile, AL? American Driver is expanding its OTR fleet and has open positions for entry level Class A drivers on Eastern routes.
Mobile's location on the Gulf Coast puts you right at the start of some of the most consistent freight lanes in the Southeast. Paid training included — no experience needed to get started.
What Training Looks Like:
- Fully paid 4–6 week program
- One-on-one time with an experienced mentor on real loads
- Covers everything from pre-trip inspections to ELD compliance
- You earn weekly pay the entire time
- Transition to $0.56 CPM solo after finishing
The Job:
- Dry van, no-touch freight
- Heavy drop and hook — around 60%
- 2,200–2,500 miles weekly
- Eastern routes with predictable dispatch
Earnings:
- $0.56–$0.65 CPM
- Typical weekly take-home $1,200–$1,500
- Extra pay for stops, layovers, breakdowns
- Pay goes up at six months
- $300 for orientation
- Direct deposit weekly
Home Time:
- Planned home time every two weeks
Truck:
- Late-model Freightliner or Kenworth (2022–2025)
- APUs on every unit

To Qualify:
- Valid Class A CDL, 21 or older
- Graduates of an accredited CDL program with at least 120 hours of instruction are eligible for our paid training program
