Job Openings CDL-A Store Delivery Driver - Paid Training - Hand Unload Freight

About the job CDL-A Store Delivery Driver - Paid Training - Hand Unload Freight

Lehigh Valley drivers: store delivery work that pays more than most regional jobs, for drivers who don’t mind physical work and want to be home every week.

New CDL holders are welcome. Just know what you are signing up for: this is a hands on unloading job.

What you earn

  • $1,600 to $1,900 average weekly gross
  • $1.10 per mile
  • $270 unload pay for every load
  • $17 stop pay
  • $650 a week while you train
  • Home weekly for your 34 hour reset

The job, straight up

  • Store deliveries out of a distribution center in Berwick
  • About 1,000 miles a week, so most of your pay comes from the work at the store
  • Full hand unload, often 5,000 pieces or more per load
  • Night driving, weekend work and tight backing at some stores
  • No deliveries on Thanksgiving or Christmas

What drivers ask us

  • “Why does it pay this much?” Because the unload is real work. The $270 per load is for that.
  • “Do I need experience?” No. You train with a mentor for 4 to 6 weeks before you run on your own.
  • “Does my CDL school count?” If it was 120 hours or more, yes.

How you get started

A recruiter reviews your license and record with you first. Orientation takes no more than 2 days, your hotel is covered, your bus ticket is reimbursed, and you get $300 once hired. Then mentor training, then your own assigned truck.

Who can apply

  • No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no DUI/DWI in 10
