Production Supervisor
Pay: $25.00 $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Production Foreman to oversee day-to-day workflow on the manufacturing floor. This role provides leadership to Line Leads and production teams, ensuring output goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with consistent product quality. The Foreman works closely with management to allocate labor, maintain standards, and keep daily operations running smoothly.
This is a mid-level leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys developing people, solving problems on the fly, and keeping production moving with precision and accountability.
Work Environment
- Non-climate-controlled warehouse setting
- Requires standing for full shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Limited, non-mandatory overtime
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach Line Leads and production personnel to meet daily output, safety, and quality objectives
- Adjust staffing and workflow throughout the day to keep production lines running efficiently
- Train and monitor team members on Standard Operating Procedures and best practices
- Support quality initiatives and help resolve issues affecting product standards
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure materials and inventory flow smoothly
- Maintain an organized, safe work environment and consistently model proper PPE use
- Hold team members accountable to performance, safety, and quality expectations
- Track and report daily production numbers, communicating issues or improvements as needed
- Assist with general production duties as required
Qualifications
- 3+ years of production supervision experience within a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coach, mentor, and guide teams toward meeting production goals
- Safety-focused mindset with the ability to enforce standards and improve processes
- Working knowledge of basic inventory practices and manufacturing systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks, anticipating issues, and managing multiple demands
- Able to communicate clearly, professionally, and with practical empathy
- Strong time-management skills for self and team
