Material Handler

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support operations within a dynamic manufacturing and warehouse environment. This individual will be responsible for the accurate handling, movement, and tracking of raw materials and finished goods to ensure timely support for production demands and outbound shipments.

Primary Duties

Transport materials using powered industrial trucks, pallet jacks, or by hand as needed

Organize and label incoming materials and place them in designated storage areas

Update inventory records using digital tracking systems

Deliver raw materials to production areas and remove completed products promptly

Assemble material kits based on instructions and job requirements

Distribute inventory to various teams according to approved requests

Return unused materials to stock and document the transfer

Package and prepare materials for delivery or shipment, including proper labeling and paperwork

Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment by following established

protocols

Participate in periodic inventory counts and support audit activities

Alert supervisors to discrepancies or damaged inventory items

Work closely with colleagues across departments to ensure materials are where they need to be when theyre needed

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Previous experience in logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing is a plus

Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification a bonus)

Comfortable using computers and inventory management software

Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail

Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet for extended periods
