Position Overview

We are seeking a Spot Welder to join a metal manufacturing facility in Royston, GA. This 1st shift position is ideal for someone with hands-on welding experience, good attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a production setting.

Responsibilities

  • Operate spot welding equipment to join metal components used in shelving and fixture production.
  • Follow blueprints, work orders, and safety guidelines to complete welds to specification.
  • Prepare materials by cleaning, aligning, and securing parts prior to welding.
  • Inspect completed welds for strength and quality; make adjustments as necessary.
  • Perform basic maintenance on spot welding equipment and maintain a clean work area.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures throughout the shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous spot welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and weld symbols.
  • Understanding of metal properties and safe welding practices.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred; welding training or certification is a plus.
