Full job description
The Role :
Provide support as a key point of contact with the Amphenol Distribution Network. Responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our channel partners as well as the Amphenol Regional Distribution Sales Management team. Manage KPI reporting for the channel such as POS, inventory, bookings. Assure appropriate and timely information is provided for proactive sales growth and distributor support on a day-to-day, as well as strategic, basis.
key responsibilities :
- Provide analysis on projects to optimize channel network, pricing and competitive advantage decisions as it applies to distribution
- Assist in generating monthly sales pipeline to support orders budget
- Provide monthly reports and analysis on POS, inventory and bookings
- Generate quarterly product profiles across multiple products to support proper inventory alignment
- Prepare data and analysis to support quarterly business reviews with channel partners
- Prepare distribution related content for Amphenol Operations Reviews, Budget and Strategic meetings
- Develop relationships with Amphenol Regional Distribution Sales Managers and Distribution partners through training & visits
- Participate in internal Amphenol distribution meetings
- Coordinate distribution of training materials, programs and systems
- Organize MARCOM plans with distribution channel
- Develop understanding of ship & debit process and exposure
- Contractual return administration and discrepancy resolution
The Person :
The key skills and qualities of a Distribution Specialist at Amphenol :
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Amphenol Distribution network
- Proficiency in AS400 system tools, Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Prolonged periods of sitting, typing, and computer usage
