Role Overview: 
As a Software Support Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our data collection software. 

Your responsibilities will include providing technical support, troubleshooting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions. 
This position demands proficiency in MSSQL, Python, API integration (utilizing tools like Postman), and navigating logs within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and efficient technical support for our data collection software, resolving issues effectively even under pressure.
  • Utilize API debugging tools such as Postman to troubleshoot and enhance API functionality.
  • Leverage GCP logs to identify, track, and diagnose potential software issues, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Utilize Python scripting to automate tasks, optimize software performance and debug scriptwriter scripts.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and stakeholders to gain insights into software issues and develop strategic solutions.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in MSSQL, Python, API integration (Postman), and log management.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, adapting to evolving priorities seamlessly.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Docker is considered a significant asset.
  • Familiarity with Apigee or any other API management platform is advantageous.
