Database and Warehouse Management System Administrator (DBA WMS)

Responsibilities:

• Perform stock reconciliations to ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Introduce and modify various types of discounts within the system as required.
• Review and update partnership levels within the membership system.
• Oversee Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes including order review, correction, and E-Factura processing.
• Introduce new lot series into the system and ensure proper tracking.
• Modify barcode configurations for products and inventory items.
• Manage synchronization processes between databases to ensure data consistency.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to facilitate data imports and streamline database management tasks.
• Maintain and enhance existing scripts written in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) to support business processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in database administration, preferably with expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase or similar databases.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL, and Sybase for database management and query optimization.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management concepts.
• Experience with B-Org, Hermes, Transart WMS
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation purposes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot database and system issues effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system improvement opportunities.
• Experience in Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) scripting is a plus.
