SAP Consultant – FI (System Upgrade & Transformation)

Overview

We are partnering with an established organisation in the insurance sector to hire a SAP Consultant (FI) to support a system upgrade and transformation to SAP FI (GROW). This role is part of the internal IT function and will play a key role in designing, upgrading, and optimising the finance system landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the upgrade and transformation to SAP FI (GROW)

• Drive system design, configuration, and solutioning for SAP FI

• Own AR/AP processes within the SAP FI landscape

• Work closely with Finance, Compliance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions

• Provide strong stakeholder engagement and rapport building, acting as a trusted IT partner

• Support testing, data migration, cutover, and post-go-live activities

• Manage vendors and system integrators where required

• Provide BAU support post-implementation to ensure system stability

Requirements

• Strong IT background with hands-on SAP FI experience

• Proven experience in SAP FI system upgrades / implementations (GROW preferred)

• Solid knowledge of AR/AP processes

• Experience in system design and end-to-end delivery

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Experience in regulated or enterprise environments (insurance or financial services is a plus)
