Company Overview: Leading real estate firm based in Dubai, specializing in residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
Position Overview: The Finance Manager will lead the entire department. The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA qualification or similar and will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strategic financial planning, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Manage the finance department, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the companys goals and objectives.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow and working capital to ensure the firm maintains sufficient liquidity for operations and investment opportunities.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls. Oversee the implementation of robust financial policies and procedures.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, working collaboratively with department heads to align financial resources with operational needs.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Team Management: Mentor and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance and address any financial queries.
Qualifications:
- ACCA qualification or equivalent professional accounting certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management, preferably within the real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and best practices in finance.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial software and tools; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
