DeltaV Support Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a DeltaV Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for Emerson DeltaV DCS systems in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on system support, troubleshooting, change management, and lifecycle support while ensuring compliance with GMP, GxP, and data integrity standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provide L2/L3 support for Emerson DeltaV DCS in live pharmaceutical manufacturing environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve control system, batch, alarms, and interface issues with minimal production impact
• Support DeltaV Batch (ISA‑88) configuration including CMs, EMs, phases, recipes, and graphics
• Perform and support change control activities in compliance with GMP / GDP procedures
• Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
• Support system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery activities
• Assist during FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ, and site readiness activities when required
• Maintain and update technical documentation, SOPs, and validation records
• Coordinate with process, validation, IT, and quality teams to ensure compliant operations
• Provide on-call / shift support as per site requirements

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS (v9.x – v14.x preferred)
• Strong knowledge of DeltaV Batch, ISA‑88 / ISA‑95 standards
• Experience supporting live GMP manufacturing systems
• Understanding of alarm management (ISA‑18.1) and change management workflows
• Knowledge of OPC, interfaces, historians (OSI PI preferred)
• Familiarity with CSV / CQV lifecycle and regulated documentation
