How youll make an impact:

You'll be the technical backbone protecting $500K+ in recurring revenue while enabling business growth. Your expertise will keep 55-60 Australian client sites secure, fast, and functional while building 1-2 new projects monthly. This isn't just maintenance work you're directly enabling a digital agency to scale from 60 to 100+ care plan clients over the next 12-24 months.

Role Overview:

We're an established digital agency serving Australian B2B and government clients (schools, government contractors, professional services firms). We're hiring a WordPress/Elementor developer to own our technical delivery across three strategic pillars: protecting recurring revenue through maintenance, enabling growth through new builds, and increasing client value through upgrades and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

Protect Recurring Revenue (50% - ~20 hours/week)

• Execute monthly WordPress core and plugin updates across 55-60 client sites with security monitoring and patch application
• Perform performance optimization, speed audits, backup verification, and uptime monitoring response
• Handle content updates for care plan clients (adding pages, updating text/images) and technical support troubleshooting
• Recover sites from hacks, crashes, or plugin conflicts to minimize client downtime

Enable Growth (30% - ~12 hours/week)

• Build 1-2 new WordPress client projects per month (10-15 hours each) using Elementor Pro from our starter template
• Implement pages based on provided content structure, wireframes, and design direction following established development standards
• Work within approved plugin ecosystem ensuring performance, mobile responsiveness, and maintainability
• Deliver projects on time while founder focuses on sales pipeline

Increase Client Value (20% - ~8 hours/week)

• Execute theme/builder migrations (e.g., Bakery to Elementor), hosting migrations, and site restructures
• Implement custom post types, Advanced Custom Fields, mobile responsiveness fixes, and accessibility improvements
• Optimize site speed, manage redirects, implement schema markup, and maintain WordPress starter boilerplate
• Create reusable Elementor templates and test new plugins/features before client rollout

Required Experience:

• 3+ years building WordPress sites with Elementor Pro (advanced level: Theme Builder, Global Styles, dynamic content)
• Proven expertise in WordPress performance optimization, responsive design implementation, and custom CSS
• Strong debugging skills for plugin conflicts, WordPress errors, and site recovery scenarios
• Experience with security best practices, update management, and following technical specifications precisely
• Track record of building clean, fast, mobile-optimized sites that meet professional standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) implementation experience

• Style Kits Pro (by AnalogWP) proficiency

• SEO-friendly site structure implementation and schema markup knowledge

• Form and lead capture setup, WordPress site migration/deployment expertise
• Accessibility testing and WCAG compliance experience

AU Time: Work days & hours; Monday - Friday 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Philippine Time (PHT): Work days & hours; Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
