Summary
The Computer Science teacher is called upon to teach Greek Middle and High school students, possibly also IB Diploma students, to collaborate with teachers of his/her department in planning teaching units and assessing student learning, and in sharing resources, to organize and participate in STEM activities as part of his/her teaching and extracurricular duties.
Contract details: This is an indefinite (αορίστου χρόνου) part-time position. The teaching load will be somewhere between 10 hours/week to 16 hours/week, depending on the final allocation of classes in June 2023.
Qualifications
Educational Background
- Bachelors degree in a specialty allowing one to be appointed as a ΠΕ 86 teacher, in accordance with Greek law.
- Very good use of the English language allowing one to teach the subject both in Greek and in English, if required to cover the needs of the IB Diploma Computer Science course.
Experience
The following will be considered as a strong asset:
- Teaching experience at the level of secondary education

Selection
A small, select number of applicants will be interviewed, and may subsequently be called upon to teach a demo class to high school students, and fill out a psychometric test.
