We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Fleet Controller to join our team and oversee our fleet of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management and logistics, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and track the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are operating efficiently and meeting all safety and compliance standards - Plan and coordinate daily routes and schedules for the fleet, taking into account factors such as delivery deadlines, traffic conditions, and vehicle availability - Communicate with drivers and other team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Manage and maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fuel usage - Identify and address any issues or concerns with the fleet, such as accidents, breakdowns, or delays - Develop and implement strategies to improve fleet efficiency and reduce costs - Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, licensed, and insured - Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices related to fleet management - Train and supervise new drivers and provide ongoing support and guidance to current drivers - Collaborate with other departments, such as dispatch and operations, to ensure smooth and efficient operations Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards - Proficient in using fleet management software and GPS tracking systems - Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively - Valid driver's license and clean driving record We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
