Overview:

Msuez Uk is a leading transportation and logistics company with operations in South Africa. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fleet Controller to join our team in Johannesburg South. The Fleet Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of our fleet, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking of vehicles

- Monitor and maintain accurate records of vehicle locations, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules

- Communicate with drivers to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services

- Coordinate with maintenance department to ensure timely repairs and maintenance of fleet vehicles

- Track and analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities

- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet efficiency and reduce costs

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall operations

- Train and mentor new drivers on company policies and procedures

- Prepare and submit reports on fleet performance and expenses to management

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years experience in fleet management or a similar role

- Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics operations

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software

- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for fleet operations

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
