Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Controller to join our team. The Fleet Controller will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fleet, ensuring that all vehicles are operating efficiently and safely. This is a critical role in our company, as the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a large fleet of vehicles and drivers. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and manage the daily operations of the fleet, including vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and driver schedules - Ensure all vehicles are in compliance with company policies and regulations, as well as local and national transportation laws - Coordinate with drivers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and materials - Track and report on fleet performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and reduce costs - Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs, as well as driver logs and schedules - Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations - Train and supervise new drivers, providing guidance and support as needed - Investigate and resolve any issues or incidents related to the fleet, including accidents or breakdowns - Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to fleet operations Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred - Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of transportation laws and regulations - Excellent organizational and time-management skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and fleet management software - Valid driver's license and clean driving record - Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed Benefits: - Competitive salary - Health insurance - Retirement plan - Paid time off - Opportunities for growth and development within the company If you are a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a passion for fleet management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
