Job Description: As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of materials within our warehouse and production facilities. Your main duties will include loading and unloading materials, operating forklifts and other equipment, and organizing and maintaining the warehouse. Key Responsibilities: - Load and unload materials from trucks, using forklifts or other equipment - Organize and maintain warehouse inventory, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials - Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials to and from production lines - Inspect materials for any damages or defects and report any issues to the production team - Assist with packaging and labeling of materials for shipment - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Keep warehouse clean and organized at all times - Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations - Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent - Proven experience as a Material Handler or similar role - Valid forklift operator certification - Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and equipment - Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Attention to detail and accuracy - Basic computer skills - Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
