Job Summary: As a Chef at Msuez UK, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes for our clients. You will work closely with our culinary team to develop menus and ensure the highest quality of food is served. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a creative approach to cooking. Key Responsibilities: - Plan and prepare menus in collaboration with the culinary team - Manage inventory and ensure all ingredients are fresh and within budget - Cook and present dishes in accordance with company standards - Monitor food quality and ensure consistency in taste and presentation - Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and hygiene - Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure timely and efficient service - Stay updated on food trends and incorporate new ideas into menu development - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times - Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations - Comply with dietary requirements and restrictions of clients - Manage kitchen expenses and maintain records of food costs Qualifications and Skills: - Proven experience as a Chef or Sous Chef - Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and presentation - Strong leadership and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure - Creativity and passion for food - Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred Working Conditions: This is a full-time position, with a typical work week of 40 hours. The Chef may be required to work evenings and weekends depending on the needs of our clients. The work environment is fast-paced and demanding, but also rewarding and fulfilling.
