Position Overview: As the Office Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office. You will be responsible for managing administrative tasks, supporting the team, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day operations of the office, including organizing and maintaining files, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings. - Answer and direct phone calls and emails, responding to inquiries and providing information as needed. - Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents. - Maintain office supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed. - Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff. - Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing paperwork and setting up workstations. - Act as a liaison between the office and other departments and external stakeholders. - Support the team with any administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and record-keeping. - Help to create and maintain a positive and professional work environment. - Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Office Administration or related field is a plus. - Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other office software. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. - Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team. Contract Details: This is a full-time, permanent position based in our office in Durban, South Africa. The typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
