Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Controller to join our team. The Fleet Controller will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are well-maintained and utilized efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics and transportation processes, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the scheduling and routing of all vehicles in the fleet to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. - Monitor vehicle maintenance and repairs to ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations. - Coordinate with drivers to ensure they have all necessary documentation and equipment for their routes. - Communicate with clients to provide updates on delivery schedules and address any concerns or issues. - Conduct regular audits of fleet operations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions. - Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, and other relevant data. - Manage relationships with third-party vendors and negotiate contracts for services. - Train and supervise a team of drivers and other fleet personnel. - Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency. Qualifications and Skills: - Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in fleet management or a similar role. - Strong understanding of transportation and logistics processes. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software. - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. - Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations. - Experience managing a team of drivers or other fleet personnel.
