Position: Fitter and Turner Company: Msuez UK Contract Details: Full-time We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fitter and Turner to join our team at Msuez UK on a full-time basis. As a Fitter and Turner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing various machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders - Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop solutions to ensure efficient operation - Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assemble, install, and align parts and components - Operate various hand and power tools to fabricate and modify parts as needed - Perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them in a timely manner - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and tasks - Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment - Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed - Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fitter and Turner in a similar role - Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications - Strong knowledge of various hand and power tools used in metalworking - Experience with lathes, milling machines, and grinders - Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Ability to work independently and manage time effectively - Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures - Trade certification in Fitting and Turning or equivalent is preferred We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for growth and advancement within the company.
