An international animal nutrition company is seeking a Sales Director, Turkey to lead and rebuild its commercial activity in Turkey.

This is a rare opportunity to take commercial direction of a national market and drive a turnaround with the backing of a well-established global group operating in over 60 countries.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for leading all commercial activity in Turkey, developing the market strategy, managing key accounts, and building a high-performing local sales operation.

The Turkish branch is currently underperforming — and this role exists to change that.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy while reporting directly to international headquarters and working closely with global sales, marketing, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Turkish sales operation (currently 1 sales consultant, with scope to expand)

  • Build and execute the national sales strategy aligned with global growth objectives

  • Deliver quarterly and annual revenue targets with accurate forecasting

  • Personally manage and grow relationships with key customers and distributors

  • Identify market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

  • Represent the company at customer meetings, trade fairs, and industry events

  • Work cross-functionally with international sales, marketing, and technical teams

About You

You are a commercially driven sales leader with deep knowledge of the Turkish feed additives / animal nutrition market and a strong personal network.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and enjoy building something rather than inheriting a finished structure.

You will ideally bring:

  • A degree in Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Veterinary / Natural Sciences, or Business

  • Minimum 5 years commercial experience in animal nutrition, feed additives, or premix

  • At least 3 years experience in a leadership or senior sales role

  • Proven success meeting sales targets and managing budgets

  • Fluency in Turkish and strong working English

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Willingness to travel regularly within Turkey and occasionally internationally
