A dynamic Key Accounts Specialist with proven experience in B2B chemical ingredients sales, able to drive business growth, strengthen client relationships, and manage strategic accounts within the chemicals industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management & Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for key accounts, ensuring excellent service delivery and building long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts through cross-selling, up-selling, and expansion of product penetration.
- Market Strategy: Provide actionable insights on industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy and strengthen market position.
- Product Expertise: Maintain strong knowledge of chemical products, positioning, and value propositions for customer awareness and support business objectives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and sales support teams to deliver seamless customer solutions.
- Performance Analysis: Track sales performance, negotiate pricing and contracts, and ensure timely processing of orders, invoices, and collections.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Background in Chemicals Sales: 57 years proven experience in key account management within the chemicals industry. Experience in selling chemical ingredients to home care, personal care, fabric care is a must.
- Sales Expertise: Strong ability to build, manage, and grow high-value customer relationships while meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with chemicals industry trends, products, and regulatory frameworks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation abilities to engage clients effectively.
- Analytical Ability: Skilled in data analysis, forecasting, and identifying opportunities for account growth.
- Education: Bachelors degree in chemistry, Business, or a related field.
