We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly analytical Accounting Adviser to join our trusted partner - a leading service provider with more than 100 offices globally and supports organizations by delivering quality value to their business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating and supporting their clients' processes and performance optimization, ensuring improvement, compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing insightful recommendations for developing organizational efficiency.

Main responsibilities:

  • Providing full clients support so that they can develop and improve their internal processes and performance
  • Providing guidance and advice on various complex accounting and auditing cases
  • Supporting with accounting framework conversions and application of new standards
  • Giving recommendations to accounting policies
  • Developing different reports that include key performance factors
  • Supporting the implementation and execution of the reports to ensure improvement of the results
  • Providing guidance, building business case models and data analysis
  • Supporting IPOs, equity and debt offerings
  • Giving internal support and monitoring more junior members of the team

Desired experience, skills and qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in internal audit, accounting, financial analysis or related field
  • Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management principles
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Efficient multitasking skills, working on different projects in parallel, attention to details
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Excellent English/German language skills (both written and spoken)
