Operations Manager / FMCG
Job Description:
Title: Operations Manager / FMCG
Reports to: General Manager
Key Responsibilities include - but are not limited to:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple outlets
- Lead and supervise store supervisors and frontline staff
- Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and hygiene regulations
- Monitor performance metrics (sales, costs, waste, inventory, staffing) and develop strategies for improvement
- Conduct regular store visits and audits to ensure quality and consistency
- Coordinate staff recruitment, training, and development
- Develop and implement SOPs to enhance operational efficiency
- Manage supply chain and vendor relationships
- Collaborate with marketing and finance teams on promotions, budgeting, and forecasting
- Handle customer or operational issues as needed
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in retail or food service
- Proven team management skills
- Strong understanding of operational workflows, cost control, and inventory management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer skills
